SavATree Participates in The Big Rig Gig

Norwalk, CT— For the forth consecutive year tree service company, SavATree, sponsored and participated in OPUS’ annual Big Rig Gig which took place Sunday, October 3 in Darien, CT.

Among countless other activities and attractions, the event offered kids of all ages a hands-on truck experience. Children were able to climb behind the wheels of more than 25 big rigs and cool cars. Parents enjoyed an raffle and silent auction.

Certified arborists and staff members from SavATree were on hand to answer questions about the bucket truck they brought along. They also gave away t-shirts, samples of ArborKelp^®, SavATree’s exclusive seaweed biostimulant designed to promote root growth and heightens stress tolerance, and many other goodies. “The event was another success for the organization” said certified arborist Roger Knoop. Mike Schoeni, District Manager at SavATree added, ” Kids have such a natural fascination for big trucks so the fact that they could get up close and even inside of them put huge smiles on their faces.”
