For Every Tree

Supporting the future of our forests.

For every tree we remove, we help another grow.

SavATree partners with the Arbor Day Foundation to support reforestation efforts in regions impacted by natural disasters and deforestation, helping our national tree canopy thrive.

Our promise

At SavATree, preservation always comes first. Our ISA Certified Arborists work to preserve the health and longevity of trees whenever possible through expert diagnosis and science-based care. But sometimes, removal is the only responsible option to protect people, property, and the long-term health of the landscape. When this happens, we partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant a tree in one of their U.S. reforestation projects, focusing on forest ecosystems in greatest need of restoration.

A partnership you can trust

The Arbor Day Foundation is a global nonprofit inspiring people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. Founded in 1972 on the 100th anniversary of Arbor Day, the Foundation has worked for over 50 years to plant more than half a billion trees alongside its partners, helping restore high-priority forests around the world.

Our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation is built on a shared belief that a more hopeful future is possible through the power of trees, and on a shared commitment to planting the correct species of trees in the areas where they will make the biggest impact to help our ecosystems thrive. Through this partnership, we are supporting two specific reforestation projects. The reforestation projects are:

Florida Panhandle: recovering from Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael tore through the Florida Panhandle in 2018 and left behind a devastating loss of forestland. This project focuses on reestablishing that lost canopy on 65 acres of land. We will support the planting of new trees and, as they mature, they will improve soil and water conservation, reduce wildfire risk, and provide stronger habitat for local wildlife.

Michigan: replanting state and national forestlands

Working alongside the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, this project is replanting trees at scale in Michigan’s forestlands, much of which were heavily logged in the 1800s. Our support will help restore native jack pine and red pine in state forests and nearby national forests, advancing the state’s broader effort to bring public lands back to their natural state. As they mature, they will provide a wide range of ecosystem services and improved habitat for deer, turkey, grouse and, most notably, the Kirtland’s warbler, a songbird that depends almost entirely on young jack pine forest to nest.

What this means for your property’s care and services

For Every Tree is a continuation of our commitment to long-term sustainability. Although we do everything we can to avoid removing a tree, we don’t take that decision lightly when it is a necessity. Through this new partnership, we can make sure that every removal contributes to the restoration of our national tree canopy and, in turn, creates a new opportunity for growth and improved environmental health.

When you choose SavATree, you’re getting the safest, most qualified team for your property, and a company that cares about the future of trees everywhere.

What this means for your business

Removal decisions on commercial properties carry the same weight and the same care. For Every Tree ensures that any removal we perform as part of your grounds management contributes directly to nationwide reforestation efforts.

For organizations tracking environmental commitments or environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals, this partnership means that your investment in tree care also supports reforestation efforts nationwide and makes a meaningful contribution to your broader sustainability initiatives.
