The best way to help the future of our environment is through education. Savatree and Hawthorne Elementary school team up annually to teach our young generation about the importance of trees and the environment. These young kids left earth day with an understanding of terms like “photosynthesis” and “phototropism”.
But it doesn’t end there. These kids also now have the knowledge to self identify insects like, ” hemlock woolly adelgid” by viewing our samples. Did I mention these kids are only second graders?
