Phil earned his Associates Degree in Forest Management from Mt. Hood Community College in 1979.

Why He Became An Arborist:

“Growing up in the 60’s the forest was my favorite escape from the day to day grind of school and work. From the 6th grade I wanted to be a forester. I was fortunate enough to achieve that goal and provide a living for my family my entire adult life. I still learn everyday.”

Customer Service Philosophy:

“I am the trusted advisor to those I encounter regardless if they become a business partner or not. I provide insight and advise as if I were talking to a member of my family. I also speak for the trees and advocate for the green industry.”

Community Involvement & Other Notable Information:

  • Previously a volunteer firefighter/EMT and member or Sheriff’s Posse

Personal:

Phil has been married to his best friend Cindy for 40 years and together they have two daughters and two granddaughters that take up most of his free time. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, mountain climbing, writing fiction novels and acting as a chew toy for his blood hound and great dane.

Phil has seen Big Foot – SERIOUSLY.
