While a bit pricey, this is a great, fullfeatured app with color photographs of over 890 species. It goes a step further by including in-depth descriptions as well as the ability to search by species, shape or name. A great all around app for tree lovers.

Less field guide and more eye candy, Trees! features hundreds of images of trees from all over the world, all of which can be saved as wallpaper by tapping a button. If you have a few free minutes or like to relax with some incredible images of trees, this is your app.

Ninjatown: Trees of Doom!
iPad-owning parents in need of an app to keep their kids entertained will appreciate this game that features tiny ninjas doing their best to scale trees while dodging bad guys and, of course, gravity.
