SavATree offers the installation of lightning protection systems that can mitigate the risk of lightning striking and damaging your trees. Installing the protection before you’re faced with the problem will save you from storm damage and the costs associated with tree removal.
The system is made up of a copper cable conductor that runs down the tree trunk to the ground, and an underground rod buried approximately ten feet away from the tree. If lightning should strike nearby, the system redirects the electrical current along the cable and away from the tree where it can safely dissolve into the ground.
