If you have ever seen a busy college campus we all know that many pedestrians can wander into our work zone unexpectedly.
During a recent reduction prune on (2) Black Walnut trees, we designed a great drop zone. As you can see in the photo below, we delineated a clear drop zone with drop zone cones, with the addition of road signs that have DANGER TREE DROP ZONE KEEP OUT, printed on them.
Even in a high traffic area like this, we had not one person walk into the drop zone. We plan on using this in the future for high traffic sites.
