Joins Forces with Ping’s Tree Service

Bedford Hills, NY— February 18, 2020 — SavATree, the industry leader in professional tree, shrub, and lawn care has announced a recent merger with Indianapolis-based Ping’s Tree Service. This marks SavATree’s 40th branch office and second Indiana location–further expanding their presence in the Midwest.

Founded by Phil Ping in 1973, Ping’s Tree service is the largest privately owned and operated tree care service company in central Indiana. Services include tree preservation and care, pruning, removals, plant health care, and professional lawn care.

In December of 2019, SavATree merged with another highly regarded, local tree care company, Vine & Branch. Consequently, Ping’s and Vine & Branch are combining teams, fleets and offices—under the SavATree canopy—to serve the needs of Indiana landscapes while employing a shared philosophy: do right by the customer, the community and the environment.

Executive Chairman Daniel van Starrenburg stated, “Ping’s is a great match for us due to our shared culture, expert teams, and dedication to safety and quality results. By building density in the Indiana marketplace, customers will benefit from environmentally minded services that enhance the health and beauty of their properties while providing additional opportunities for employees. We are excited to welcome Ping’s to the SavATree family.”

Phil Ping’s daughter, Lisa Daugherty, will lead the newly combined teams and commented, “I am excited to partner with SavATree to enhance the legacy my father built over the past 47 years by providing even more services and taking the company to the next level.”
