Why did you become an arborist?

"Growing up in Pennsylvania, I was surrounded by nature from an early age. Spending time outdoors fostered a deep appreciation for trees, forests, and the natural environment. That connection to nature helped shape my career path and confirmed that I wanted a profession that kept me outside and actively engaged with the environment. I have always enjoyed working outdoors and knew I would be happiest in a career that allowed me to be hands-on rather than sitting behind a desk. I graduated from Purdue University in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and a minor in Urban Forestry. I started my career as an intern with Savatree, where I spent five years working in general tree care and plant health care before becoming an arborist. While becoming an arborist was always my goal, I wanted to gain firsthand experience doing the work myself. I believe the best way to understand this profession is to live it every day in the field. That experience has given me a strong foundation and a practical perspective that I bring to every client and every tree I work with."

Customer Service Philosophy:

"I believe great customer service starts with listening. My goal is to provide honest advice, clear communication, and expert recommendations based on real-world experience. I want every client to feel informed, respected, and confident that their trees are receiving the best possible care."

Personal/Fun Fact:

"I take board games and video games very seriously. Some might call it competitive; I prefer to call it "highly motivated to win."
