Today the SavATree management team had our annual service project at the Henry Whitfield House in Guilford, CT.
The site is a National Historic Landmark and has the oldest house in CT and the oldest stone house in New England.
Unfortunately, this amazing site, like many historic properties, often does not have all of the resources it needs for maintenance, including tree care.
From pruning crabapples and mature sugar maples to grinding stumps to felling large, defective trees, we put in a good day’s work.
It was great to spend the day with SavATree colleagues from MA to VA to IL to MN providing tree care to a very special site.
