The Chesapeake Stormwater Network is a network of nearly 7,000 stormwater professionals, primarily, but not exclusively, within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
They do a lot of great things – one of them is helping to clean up urban stormwater with BUBBA. No, BUBBA is not my fun-loving uncle. It is an acronym for Best Urban BMP in the Bay.
We are very proud that a number of Baltimore Urban Waters Partnership partners were 2015 BUBBA winners.
The Parks and People Foundation won in the Best Innovative category and showed in the Best Ultra-Urban category.
Restoring the Environment and Developing Youth (READY ) placed in the Best Residential category.
Congratulations to all winners for their creativity and focus in helping clean urban stormwater.
Happy Earth Day! Grab your nearest BUBBA and do something good for the earth – you may be surprised at how much you can accomplish together.
The Consulting Group at SavATree provides project support to the US Forest Service Northern Research Station and the Baltimore Urban Waters Partnership.
