Jason’s arboriculture journey commenced with an internship alongside Elm Groves Municipal Forester during his environmental science studies at Carroll University. Post-graduation, he immersed himself in the field as a production arborist at American Tree Experts, where his love for arboriculture blossomed over three years of hands-on experience. Seeking to deepen his expertise, Jason pursued a master’s degree in urban forestry at UW-Stevens Point, graduating with honors. Transitioning into sales with SavATree in Northbrook, IL, he covered the Chicago territory for three years before returning to Wisconsin. With over a decade of experience, Jason is dedicated to sharing his tree care knowledge and passion with his clients, ensuring the health and vitality of their landscapes.

Personal:

Outside of his arboriculture pursuits, Jason’s deepest passions revolve around his family and Wisconsin sports. His wife, Maureen, and their newborn son, Michael, hold the top spots in his heart, although his devotion may sway when the Packers take the field. Jason finds joy in outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and golfing, often accompanied by a refreshing cold beverage to complement the Wisconsin scenery.

Why He Became an Arborist:

Jason’s affinity for arboriculture and the outdoors traces back to his childhood, where frequent camping trips in the Upper Peninsula ignited his passion. From an early age, he harbored a desire to work in outdoor settings, and this aspiration solidified during an internship with the Elm Grove Forester. It was during this experience that Jason unearthed his deep-seated love for trees, setting him on the path towards a fulfilling career in arboriculture.
