Deezirae operates out of SavATree’s Northshore, IL branch providing comprehensive tree, shrub, lawn, tick and deer services to the Northshore region in Illinois, including Northbrook, Barrington, Evanston, and Warrenville. Some services that Dezirae and the team offer to clients in the Northshore area include tree pruning, tree and lawn fertilization, tree removal, tree disease and lawn disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment, shrub services including Boxwood Blight treatments, organic lawn care and other organic care options, pest control including mosquito and tick treatments, lawn aeration, lawn seeding and deer repellents. Qualifications:

After gradation she began working as a Forest Technician conducting tree inventories, timber sales, timber stand improvement, and invasive species control for state and residential clients. Her knowledge and skills led her to take on a dynamic role working with a non-profit organization that aided municipalities to implement sustainability into their communities. During her time, she developed a multiyear Wetland Management Plan and a Sustainability Plan to help shape the needs and goals of the municipality. Her passion for conservation and tree care led her to SavATree starting as a Plant Health Care Specialist treating plant pests and disease infestations on residential and commercial properties. She quickly excelled and took on a hybrid role working with Administrative Staff and Arborist to provide high quality customer service by managing routes for the Plant Health Care and Lawn.

Education:

Graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry – Specialization in wildlife habitat and conservation, minoring in Environmental Studies.

Why Did You Become an Arborist?

“Growing up I have always been drawn to the outdoors, from reading books in the tallest tree I could climb to backpacking in the mountains. My passion for exploring nature led me into a career in forestry where I became an Arborist to provide professional guidance to individuals and organizations on tree care.”
