Brandon started his career in the tree care industry after graduating from Penn State in 2009.  He’s had the opportunity to work in each of SavATree’s service lines: lawn care, plant health care, and general tree care.  The primary focus of his career has been general tree care. Brandon started with basic climbing and gained skills along the way. He had the distinct privilege of learning from very skilled tree care foremen who helped develop his technical and leadership abilities.  Through years of hard work and practice he managed to become an effective tree crew foreman capable of every aspect of SavATree’s general tree care operation – from topiary hedge trimming to large tree crane removal.  Training in the lawn and plant health care service lines allowed him to assist in the delivery of timely services during peak demand while being provided deeper insight into his clients needs.  In January of 2019, Brandon was able to draw upon all of his industry experience and advance to the role of Branch Manger for the Newtown, PA based SavaTree Bucks County office while also serving as an arborist servicing the Langhorne territory.

Brandon earned his Bachelor’s in Science degree in Forest Management from Penn State University.

Industry Involvement, Awards and Certifications:

  • ISA Certified Arborist

Why Did He Become an Arborist?:

“I became an arborist to help people care for what they love.  Often what our customers need is a solution to a problem.  It may be that a tree is dropping leaves into their pool, or that an insect is eating all the leaves on a shrub, or that their lawn is not what they expect it to be.  As an arborist, I serve as an expert to what is happening in our customers outdoor living space.  Partnering with homeowners to find solutions to manage their expectation of what their landscape should be is extremely rewarding.”

Customer Service Philosophy:

“I like to be sure that I have a clear understanding of a customers ultimate goals.  After I understand their goals I like to be sure that they understand the process of achieving those goals.  When working with the natural world, change often occurs over a matter of years versus a matter of days and that is where most frustration stems from in the green industry.  Once we understand the goals and the time frame, an open line of communication keeps myself and my customers connected.  Since I can’t be on every property every day, a phone call, text, picture, or email can help to alert me to any problems that arise and work with the customer to determine the next step.”
