Sara Jensen

Sara provides comprehensive tree, shrub and lawn care services to homeowners, like you, throughout the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area. As an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist with 15 years of arboriculture experience, Sara’s hands-on experience and advanced training enable her to address your tree care and landscape needs with precision. A Montgomery County native, Sara is passionate about the environment and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and gardening.

Qualifications:

Sara has diverse experience in the landscape architecture, community/urban planning and arboriculture fields. She has worked for the private, non-profit and public sectors over the last 20 years. She holds the highest professional Arborist credential as an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist.

Education:

Sara earned her Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture in 2004 from the University of Maryland College Park. She has also studied abroad in Costa Rica and Italy.

Personal:

Sara is a Montgomery County native. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and birding. She and her rescue Doberman, Hemingway, enjoy life on the water.

Why Did you Become an Arborist?

“Since my work with Casey Trees in 2002, a DC based non-profit whose mission is to restore our nation’s capital urban canopy, I’ve known that I wanted to become an Arborist.
