In honor of Arbor Day 2015, students from Warring Magnet School of Science and Technology planted a Redbud and two Dogwood trees (Provided in partnership with SavATree and the City of Poughkeepsie) at College Hill Park. With support from Poughkeepsie city workers, the Shade Tree Commission, the NYDEC Urban Forester, and the Mayor of Poughkeepsie, the children recited poetry, learned about the benefits of urban trees, and planted three beautiful trees.
