Personal:

Bernie lives in Denver with his daughter Dallas, their two dogs, Root Beer and Bodhi, and their cat, Lotus. He thoroughly enjoys being a father, Arborist, long-distance runner, vegan cook, jazz guitarist and a complete nerd about anything tree and turf related.

Why He Became an Arborist:

“Growing up surrounded by live oaks and stately pecan trees in the south, I always had a deep appreciation for what trees do for us. After I left the U.S. Marine Corps, I began working for an established tree care company in Denver. Very quickly, my appreciation for trees grew into a passion for tree and landscape preservation.”

Customer Service Philosophy:

“I value and appreciate the opportunity to meet with my customers in their landscapes. Sharing my enthusiasm for Colorado’s outdoors and contributing my experience to identifying practical solutions makes every day wonderful. An old adage says, “We have two ears and two eyes, but only one mouth for a reason.” I believe actively listening to my customers and keeping my eyes open to changes in their landscape is the key to finding practical solutions. And if I don’t know the answer, someone on the SavATree team does. Guaranteed.”
