One of SavATree’s top core values is to uphold an environmentally sensible approach to tree, shrub and lawn care while simultaneously serving our clients and protecting our planet.
For example, our product selection phase relies heavily on our sensitive environmental approach. Each service is backed by extensive research and testing, and applied with great attention to detail in order to ensure safety and sustainability.
Our actions are always in consideration of the landscapes we care for. We aim to advance our environmental performance and sustainability through product evaluations, routine review of procedures and client input to yield superior results. Eliminating phosphorus from our lawn care program and limiting the use of nitrogen companywide are a part of our efforts to reduce SavATree’s carbon footprint. Additionally, our plant health care program utilizes sea kelp to fortify soil along with other natural ingredients that are safe for the environment.
Our connection with the environment has endured for generations, and so have many of the trees we care for. We parallel this multigenerational concept within our corporate structure by integrating new leaders who will further execute on our core values, alongside our professional team members who have helped grow and build SavATree.

ounce that through a strong succession strategy and thoughtful planning, SavATree has selected Carmine Schiavone as our new Chief Executive Officer. We are proud stewards of the properties we serve throughout the country, and under Carmine’s leadership SavATree will continue to maintain our commitments to customer satisfaction and environmental sustainability for our communities.
Carmine has held senior leadership positions at Johnson Controls Fire Protection Solutions and Services and with Tyco International. His management expertise, along with his Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean certifications, makes him a highly qualified choice for SavATree. I will continue with SavATree as Executive Chairman, overseeing the company’s strategic direction and acquisitions program. I am confident that under Carmine’s leadership, SavATree will continue to prosper for the benefit of all stakeholders and will allow us to continue enhancing the health and beauty of our clients’ properties and the environment.
