Colleen provides comprehensive tree, shrub, and lawn care services to homeowners like you throughout the Rockville area. As a longtime Maryland resident, she has spent her life learning and caring for local plants and ecosystems. She became an arborist to align her lifelong love of plants with her work and to offer honest, helpful landscape guidance to her clients.

Why did you become an arborist?

"To get back to my roots (pun intended). I was always the kid climbing a tree and playing in the woods. I have had a diverse career, but always found myself outside of working hours either tending to, talking about, or reading up on plants. I feel so grateful to align my passion with my paid work."

Roots in the Local Community:

"I grew up in Baltimore County, moved to Prince George's for school, and have been here ever since. So I have been admiring, identifying, and caring for plants in this area my entire adult life. My favorite courses in undergrad had us walking around Lake Artemesia or the Paint Branch trails; they are still my favorite places to spend a free day."

I’m so pleased with Sara Jensen and her crew. They came right on time and were so respectful of my property and my neighbors. The two trees they had to remove were huge and they were very methodical in their approach to getting them down. It took 2 days and they cleared and cleaned all the debris out every day.
