Shea D’Agostino

Shea provides comprehensive tree and shrub services to homeowners like you throughout the Northbrook area. She holds a B.S. in Zoology with a certificate in Environmental Studies from UW-Madison. As an ISA Certified Arborist with over nine years of experience, Shea is dedicated to helping her clients learn more about what makes plants healthy and happy.

Qualifications:

“I started my career in the green industry in 2016, focusing on plant ecology and species-environment interactions. I have experience working at the UW-Madison Arboretum, managing a lab that studies U.S. prairies and savannas, spraying invasive plants at a Wisconsin military base, and caring for trees and shrubs as a Plant Healthcare Specialist for SavATree.”

Education:

Shea earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Zoology and Spanish Certificate in Environmental Studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Why Did You Become an Arborist?

“As a kid I spent lots of time outside in the northwest Chicago suburbs, enjoying lakes, bogs, and oak and pine forests. I am fascinated by how trees and shrubs adapt to their environment. I became an arborist to better understand the nature that surrounds us!”

“Caring for your trees, shrubs, and lawn can be a daunting task. I am here to help with any concerns and to get people excited to learn more about their landscapes. Tailoring programs to customers’ needs is key – I treat every landscape as unique, knowing that one may differ greatly from the next.”
