Why did you become an arborist?

"Had you told 10 year old Jacob he could make a living climbing trees I would have been an arborist the second they'd let me. As it was, however, my path to becoming an arborist was a bit round about - I ended up working my way through the green industry to find my niche before finding my home in arboriculture. Then, the second I climbed my first tree and knew I was helping a tree grow, I was hooked and have spent the interim doing everything I can to learn more."

Customer Service Philosophy:

"I'm a firm believer that nobody is always right - neither the customer nor I. As such, I view service as a partnership that requires open and honest communication to ensure that, if I don't have the answer, I can work to find it and if my client is unsure of something, I can ask as many questions as needed to figure out how I can help."

Community Involvement:

"I love just about every critter out there, so I am a volunteer at Unity Farm Sanctuary in Sherbourn, MA and did a volunteer internship at the New England Wildlife Center in 2024."

Roots in the Local Community:

"I've spent my entire life in New England. I grew up in a costal town in Connecticut and moved to MA in 2018. Since then, I've had the pleasure of hiking, biking, and running my way throughout the area."

Personal/Fun Fact:

"I qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon in 2018 and 2019. Also, I have ran 7 other marathons throughout the Northeast and completed the Maine half Ironman after getting more into cycling and swimming during the pandemic."
