Jason has been in the tree industry since 1999. He has experience working in tree care, plant health care and lawn care.

Education:
Jason earned his associates degree in Horticulture from McHenry County College.
Personal:
Jason enjoys fishing, camping and attending sporting events. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer and his son and daughter, Josh and Jamie. He grew up in Elk Grove Village, IL and attended Elk Grove high school.

February 28, 2020 – We had a great time speaking with the students at Fremd High School Career Fair! We gave the students the opportunity to speak to us about the green industry and let them know about their career opportunities at SavATree.
MCD Golf Outing
Jason and fellow arborist, David Kusnierz of our Warrenville, IL branch, attended the MCD Golf Outing at Eaglewood Resort in Itasca, IL. This was a great opportunity for them to connect with local business leaders and members of the community. They ran an “Ask an Arborist” booth where they answered community members’ burning questions about tree, shrub and lawn conditions and handed out some fun giveaways!

Webworm in Roselle, IL
August 27, 2019 – The fall webworm is in full bloom at this client’s house in Roselle, IL. Webworms are caterpillars that weave loose webbing around a tree’s leaves. Not only are they an unsightly addition to your trees, but they also feed on leaves, which can cause severe damage to the foliage. These critters usually start to pop up in the late summer and early fall. They can severely stress out the tree and must be treated promptly.
