Education:

Kelly attended State University of New York at New Paltz and majored in Geology.

Qualifications:

“I am an ISA and ISA TRAQ Certified Arborist working in the industry for the last 7 years. I have a passion for preserving and protecting our landscape. I started working with the Department of Agriculture ALB Eradication program inspecting trees for beetle damage in the southern Nassau and Suffolk County area. I have worked with several NYC Parks projects including tree assessments for pruning or invasive insects, forest restorations, street tree planting, and supervising tree removal crews. I have also worked on location assessing forest fire effected trees in California.”

Why Did You Become an Arborist?

“When I began working with trees 7 years ago I fell in love with working in arboriculture. It is a wonderful field and I am always learning something new about trees. They are beautiful, essential, and I would do anything to preserve and protect them.”
