Kyle participated in a summer internship at the Bartlett experimental Forest in the Haystacks of the White mountains; gathering data for their permanent research plots. After college he found a position as a Consulting Utility Forester with ACRT working as a contractor of Unitil. Here he implemented Unitil’s Storm Resiliency Program aiming to reduce outages caused by extreme weather events; becoming proficient at basic tree risk assessments and identification.
Kyle earned his Bachelors of Science in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire. Go Wildcats!

Kyle is a certified with the International Society of Arboriculture #NE-7554A. This signifies that he holds both the knowledge and skills to properly care for and manage trees as an industry professional.
Kyle currently lives in Manchester, NH with his partner Megan. He enjoys doing anything that gets him outside. However, he has a special interest in hiking, skiing, canoeing, and fishing; with a passion for woodworking.
Why He Became An Arborist:
“Growing up, my dad was in the military and forests became my get-a-way, haven. As I got older and went from cubs scouts to boy scouts, eventually obtaining Eagle scout, I found a true need to be around trees leading to a life in the field of Arboriculture.”

Kyle spent several years on the UNH woodsman team competing in lumberjack style competition with other schools around.
