Why did you become an arborist?

"I have always been drawn to the outdoors and the relationship between people and the landscapes they live in. My career began with the Southwest Conservation Corps building high-alpine hiking trails and managing forest health project in Colorado. Over time, I realized that trees provide some of the most meaningful connections between ecology and community. Arboriculture allows me to combine science, stewardship, and relationship building while helping people care for one of the most vaulable assets on their property."

Customer Service Philosophy:

"I believe successful tree care starts with listening. Every property owner has different goals, and my job is to provide honest reccomendations, explain options clearly, and help clients make informed descisions. Building trust through expertise, communitication, and follow-through is the foundation of good customer service."

Roots in the Local Community:

"Although I am relatively new to the Dayton area, I have spent my career working with communities to improve and steward their urban forests. Before joining SavATree, I managed forestry and conservation programs for multiple municipalities in the St. Louis region, helping residents, local governments, and community organizations care for thousands of trees. Today, I am proud to call the Dayton area home and serve homeowners throughout the region. My family and I chose to relocate here to be closer to family, and I enjoy getting to know the unique neighborhoods, landscapes, and trees that make southwest Ohio such a special place to live."

Personal/Fun Fact:

"When not exploring local parks and natural areas, I can usually be found finding a new problem to solve: working on vintage motorcycles, fixing old musical equipment, rehandling and sharpening tools, or trying to learn how to write computer code."
