Alexander Alberti

Alex provides comprehensive tree, shrub, and lawn care services to homeowners like you throughout the Simsbury Connecticut area. Alex holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from University of Oregon. As an ISA Certified Arborist with many years of experience, Alex develops customized programs for hazard mitigation, tree health and landscape aesthetic.

Why did you become an arborist?

“I first started in the tree care industry while attending University of Oregon, working as a groundsman and entry climber. I found my footing upon moving to the Olympic peninsula in Washington state where I became a lead climber, spending my time in douglas fir and western redcedars. I moved to Los Angeles where I worked as an urban forestry arborist, specializing in commercial property tree maintenance and hazard tree removal. Returning to the east coast, I worked as a consulting utility arborist responsible for managing vegetation around electrical distribution infrastructure. I feel fortunate for the experience of working in such diverse and different environments. I believe it has helped me develop a broad understanding of arboricultural approaches and practices.”

Personal/Fun Fact:

Alex grew up in Greenlawn, NY on the north shore of Long Island. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, friends and in nature. Surfing, fishing, sailing and rock climbing are some of his favorite ways to enjoy his time outside. Alex is an avid cook and enjoys foraging local gourmet mushrooms from our Connecticut forests.
