Qualifications:
Laura has been gardening since she was fourteen and has developed experience in many sectors of the outdoor arts. She has performed masonry, large and small scale landscape installation, garden and lawn maintenance, installation of water features, excavation, tree pruning, plant health care.
Education:
Laura earned a degree in religious studies at Wellesley College while working in botanical gardens and taking classes in horticulture and environmental studies. A junior year internship at the New York Botanical Gardens solidified Laura’s decision to commit to a career in the green industry.

Personal:
Laura loves backyard cookouts and long drives with her wife Camille to explore New England and discover breweries, chocolate shops, and hole-in-the-wall places. Every summer, Laura and her whole family enjoy vacationing on Cape Cod in Truro, dining on Wellfleet oysters and lobster rolls.
Why She Became An Arborist:
“As I began narrowing the focus of my career on tree care, having a complete view of each property and the client’s relationship with their landscape took on special significance. Although providing service directly was immensely satisfying for many years, I realized that being an arborist would enable me to provide optimal care for clients and their green space.”
