Observations in the Field:

February 17, 2022 – Wormsloe Historic Site, Savannah

“RUN Forrest, RUN!” Savatree is being recognized this morning by the Rotary Club, The National Park Service, and WTOC for their Historic work at the famous site where they filmed Forest Gump running down this alley of Live Oaks. Hurricanes have damaged these trees over the last 180 years and we have reached out to the community to help in preserving this national treasure. Matt Crigger, pictured in orange, is ready to prep planting holes where days later more than 50 volunteers will arrive to help us leave our mark on the community for another 180+ years to come! We make the intersection between people and trees work, and we care for what our neighbors love!
