Bill operates out of SavATree’s Tulsa, Oklahoma branch providing comprehensive tree and shrub services to Tulsa, Owasso, Broken Arrow, Jenks, and Bixby. Some popular services that he offers to clients include tree pruning, tree disease management, tree removal, shrub trimming and fertilization, and organic treatment options. “As a teenager I worked for Wolfe Nursery and Thomas Landscape. I have also been the owner and operator of Preaus Landscape of Tulsa for 43 years.”

Education:

Bill received his degree in Forestry from Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Personal:

“I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. I have been married to my wife Tammy for 39 years and have 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter, and 2 grandsons. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and Oklahoma football.” 

Why Did You Become an Arborist? 

“I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors…I studied horticulture at Vo-Tech my junior and senior years in high school. That’s when I began to appreciate trees.”

Community Involvement:

“I founded the Tulsa Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation 35 years ago and have been a Big Game Banquet Committee Member ever since.”

Fun Fact:

“When I was 15 years old I started ‘Bill’s Lawn Service.’ I paid cash for my first Harley Davidson motorcycle when I was 15 and a half. (1962 Pan-Head Dura-Glide)
