Why did you become an arborist?
“Ever since I was 13 I wanted to be a forester. When I got to college I found out there was a field of arboriculture and thought that seemed even better.”
Customer Service Philosophy:
“If you have energetic and engaged employees then the customer will have a great experience.”
Personal Notes:
“I’m grateful for my 40 years working in trees, and know that I am leaving my legacy in good hands with SavATree.”
Fun Fact:
“When I was eight years old, I saw a broken branch about 20 feet up an oak tree. I brought a rope with me and climbed to the broken branch. I threw the rope over a higher branch, and tied one end to the broken branch. I then pulled on the other end of the rope and lever the broken branch back into place. Two years later, I climbed back up the tree when I was 10. The branch had healed itself at the break. I took the rope off, and the branch continued to grow healthy again. I guess I always wanted to work in trees.”
