Emily Rushka

Emily provides comprehensive tree and shrub services to homeowners like you throughout San Mateo County. She holds a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Horticulture from UC Davis. As an ISA Certified Arborist with advanced training in tree risk assessment, Emily helps property owners make informed decisions about their landscape investments. Outside of work, Emily loves spending time outdoors, enjoying the environmental and aesthetic benefits offered by plants and trees. 

Qualifications:

“I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Biology and a minor in Environmental Horticulture. While at UC Davis, I spent most of my time working in the Environmental Horticulture greenhouses, where I developed a passion for Plant Biology. My passion for Horticulture and Plant Biology has led me to Arboriculture, and as a Certified Arborist I am excited to help my clients with their landscape and trees.”

Why Did You Become an Arborist?

“I have been passionate about gardening and spending time outdoors for my whole life. This is what led me to pursuing a degree in Biology and ultimately toward Arboriculture. I have learned through my education and time outdoors that trees are extremely valuable both environmentally and aesthetically. I am excited to work with customers to maintain the health and beauty of their trees.”
