SavATree’s Executive Team is comprised of experienced professionals, each of whom has over 20 years of tenure. Together they are responsible for servicing the customer and maintaining efficiency while upholding core brand values.
Daniel graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Arboriculture. Prior to that, he graduated from the Waldorf School in the Netherlands where he lived for part of his youth. Daniel, a licensed Arborist, purchased SavATree from the founder Ralph Robbins in 1985. As CEO, Daniel orchestrates the growth, development and expansion of the company in new and existing markets. This includes championing the adoption of Lean Sigma for Service, designed to help the company be the best in every market it serves, as measured by customer satisfaction. Daniel is also a member of the Voice for Trees Political Action Committee, Vice Chairman of the World Presidents Organization (Fairchester Chapter) and a Board Member for the Rippowam Cisqua School.
Ralph, a graduate from Paul Smith College, is a long standing committee member of the Long Island Parks Commission. As Vice President of New Business Development, he establishes and develops new and existing tree care operations for all of the company’s service regions. Ralph also contributes to arborist development and training programs to ensure that SavATree continues to maintain the highest professional standards in the tree care industry.
Don holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry as well as a BA in Business Management from Syracuse University. As Chief Operating Officer, Don develops and implements company-wide sales and operations plans for the arborists, field crews, and staff, including safety and training programs, quality control, customer service, tree care industry compliance issues and fleet management.
Luann holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from Pace University and an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from Fordham University. As Vice President of Marketing and Sales Development, Luann facilitates growth in revenues, professionalism, brand presence and overall success of the sales team. She also works to increase the company’s brand presence in the communities that we serve through a comprehensive, localized mix of marketing programs, strategic alliances, community & trade events and online initiatives.
Jon graduated from Saint Bonaventure University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He also has an MBA in Accounting from Iona College. As Chief Financial Officer, Jon supervises all facets of financial accounting, budgeting and reporting, assuring compliance in GAAP. In addition, he directs all accounting and finance operational areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit and banking.
Valerie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC) and completed the American Management Association’s MBA Certificate Program. As Vice President of Human Resources, Valerie manages talent acquisition, team retention, employee engagement and career development company-wide, in addition to providing oversight on employee benefits and regulatory compliance. Valerie is spearheading several employee engagement initiatives as part of our lean journey
