SavATree Hosts Largest Arborist Conference to Date

Bedford Hills, NY—February 8, 2019—After a year of large acquisitions across Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona, SavATree recently hosted its largest sales conference to date at the HNA Palisades Premier Conference Center in Palisades, NY, with 225 arborists in attendance from 34 branches. SavATree is a rapidly expanding industry leader in tree, shrub, and lawn care.

Throughout the 4-day conference, SavATree arborists heard from 24 speakers on subjects that ranged from tree structure and organic lawn care to sales strategies and increasing Google reviews.

Cynthia Mills, President and CEO of The Tree Care Industry Association from 1999 to 2009 and current author and leadership expert, gave the keynote address.

Among the general session speakers were Dr. Ed Gilman, Professor Emeritus of the University of Florida’s Environmental Horticulture Department; Richard Buckley, the Director of the Plant Diagnostic Lab at Rutgers University; Dr. Nicholas Brazee, University of Massachusetts Extension Plant Pathologist; and Ed Carpenter, President of North American Training Solutions and safety expert.

“The larger we grow, the more vital it is to ensure that each arborist recognizes what an important role they play in the future of SavATree,” said CEO and President, Daniel Van Starrenburg. “Gathering everyone together for a week of education and team building is a great chance to set us up for success in 2019.”
