Bedford Hills, NY—August 2018—SavATree, a leading provider of expert tree, shrub, and lawn care services, has recently announced that Mark Garvin, former President and CEO of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), will join SavATree.

Before joining SavATree, Garvin worked for TCIA for 22 years, including as President and CEO from 2009 until March 2018. TCIA’s mission is to “advance tree care businesses” while establishing safety and education standards.

Garvin will primarily work with SavATree’s Mergers and Acquisitions team, helping to identify like-minded partners that share the company’s core values, which are centered on employees, customers, and sustainability.  In recent years, SavATree has expanded rapidly into new regions and markets including Colorado and Georgia, and plans to build on this momentum going forward.

“Mark brings with him an incredible knowledge of this industry,” said Daniel van Starrenburg, CEO of SavATree. “He will be a great asset to us going forward. We’re excited to have him on the team.”
